I finally got the star thing to work out correctly this time, just gotta take a deep breath, go slowly . . .

then copy-paste them all over the place.

I haven't matched up with the quality of the tutorial example, but nonetheless I got quite a few tips out of it.

Ended up drawing in the detailed-style, but I've gotten more confident drawing it this way now, especially thanks to that FB banner drawing which helped me get used to my current version of drawing style.
