Helping myself by creating a rather rough guideline of Shooting's story-line.
I also mentally have how Arc 1, 2, and 3 will be planned out as well, which won't be much of a spoiler -
Adapting to Equestria
Freelance Part-Time Worker
3~6 is traveling to new locations other than Ponyville. 7~8 finalizes her story.
These arcs are just mental checkpoints, I'm not actually going to set 'Start of Arc #' or anything like that when going through her story.
I mentioned it a few times but -
Her story starts from when she first enters Ponyville (young adult) to "present" (grown-up) and plans to tackle a bit of foreign clue-ness, alternate universe issues, modern vs. traditional and relationships. Confidence and 'hot-blooded' level increases over time.
It's more a character development story, note, than some other story-tumblr which are focused on the adventure/story itself and such.
Yea, I updated a bunch of my tools and textures, hitting SAI's customization limit here so I made sure to optimize what I could - I'll probably still be doing a few more sketches and some background practice before going into starting the test commissions and Shooting's Story/Ask-Tumblr.
Kinda funny, that I remember how I did the old sketches now. I think I still remember how to do that last-style to sketching 'though for later.
"Arc 6" was sketched before I updated my Paint Tool SAI tool settings.
Turns out, the difference was that I was trying to sketch on a larger canvas those last few times (I actually re-sized "Arc 6" down to 1/4 it's original size), so basically setting off a different brush size appearance relative to character size.
The last time I did a sketch sheet of Shooting Star was back in 11/17/12 :
Shooting Star is an OC designed based on the My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic universe
My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic series belongs to Hasbro
