MLPOC Shooting Star - Relaxation by DShou MLPOC Shooting Star - Relaxation by DShou

Edit - I forgot her wings, ugh, and I didn't realize 'til the next day. Do y'all get those moments where you forget something really important to a character/drawing?

Tried a new method to shading the hai-okay that was simpler than I thought. It's a lot easier to just shade normally and do water/erase strokes instead of trying to make the shade strokes from the start.

Aim high then climb down, something I learned when I tried to practice voice acting once.

I should be able to do that for future drawings easily now!

I totally forgot to spread the mane at the water.

My Little Pony : Friendship is Magic series and characters belongs to the Hub & Hasbro

Aye, those moments. >_>
At least in this case it wasn't very obvious since the wing space is mostly obscured. I didn't even realise till now.

On that note, I just realised that you connect your wings more at the shoulder instead of more in the middle of the body. What do you think about the differentiation? As far as I'm concerned it's just a matter of preference, but I was wondering if you were doing it intentionally or not!

I actually wondered about the placement myself, thinking I was putting it too close to the neck or something and I think I do sometimes, but in a way it kinda works. Wings are designed to be either a creature's arm or at their shoulder-blade yasee, actually it's like that from a bunch of mythological references as well so that's kind of how I imagined it's placement.
